O-rings are one of the most common seals used in machine design because they are inexpensive, easy to make, reliable, and have simple mounting requirements.

The O-ring may be used in static applications or in dynamic applications where there is relative motion between the parts and the O-ring. Dynamic examples include rotating pump shafts and hydraulic cylinder pistons.

Temperature: Normal: -40 to 100C

Low temperature: -55 to 100C

High temperature: -30 to 100C (Air)

and -30 to 100C (oil)

Hardness: ShoreA 40-90

Use: oil resistance situation

FKM/FPM O RING

Temperature: -20 to 220C

Hardness: ShoreA 50-90

Use: oil resistance, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistant, high temperature resistance situation

SILICONE/VMQ O RING

Temperature: Normal: -60 to 225C

Hardness: ShoreA 25-90

Use: Food situation

EPDM O RING

Temperature: Normal: -50 to 150C

Hardness: ShoreA 40-90

PU O RING

Temperature: AU: -40 to 100C (oil resistance)

EU: -80 to 90C (water resistance)

Hardness: ShoreA 60-98

How to keep in stock for the o-ring?
1. Do not open the original packing to keep them clean to avoid any damage.
2. Should be stored away from direct sunlight and keep in low humidity environment. Sunlight and moisture make rubber get ageing asap, and get the size of rubber or plastic material changing.
3. Once it was opened, make sure there are no any other objects inside when repacked, and please kindly use the original packing bag.
Fourth, should be stored away from electric machinery which could be produced ozone.
4. Do not string up the o-rings and hang on the nail or metal wire, or the shape of o-ring get changing and damage the end of o-ring lip.
When the color of o-ring is changing or there is white powder(Frosting appears), there is no effect on the o-rings.
